Members of AWS Student Builder Group at USCS have the right to request account deactivation, correction of personal profile details, or complete deletion of their account record.

2. How Requests Are Handled (Manual Verification)

To ensure security and prevent unauthorized account destruction, account deletion requests are reviewed and processed manually by system administrators. Automated immediate deletion is intentionally not enabled to protect student records.

3. Step-by-Step Account Deletion Process

Method 1: Account Settings Request

Sign in to your account, navigate to Settings → Account Request, select Account Deletion, and click Submit. An admin notification will be generated automatically.

Method 2: Direct Email Request

Send an email from your registered email address to aws-sbg@uscs.dr5t.tech with the subject line: "Account Deletion Request - [Your Full Name]".

4. Processing Timeframe & Data Retention Rules

Support responses are typically provided within 08–24 hours during working business days, Monday–Friday, 09:30 AM–05:30 PM IST.

Upon verification, your Firebase Authentication account and DynamoDB User Profile record (`USER#<uid>`) will be deactivated.
In accordance with university and club security rules, historical event registration audit logs and certificate issuance logs are preserved for administrative verification.
