1. Platform Content & Design Ownership

The structural code, custom UI design assets, graphics, and documentation created for the AWS Student Builder Group at USCS platform are protected under applicable copyright and intellectual property laws.

2. Student Project Code & Open Source

Students and builder members retain full intellectual property ownership of their submitted project source code, hackathon repositories, and technical articles.

By displaying projects on our showcase directory, student creators grant the Organization a non-exclusive license to feature project descriptions, screenshots, and repository links for community learning.
Open-source project repositories published under club GitHub organization accounts remain governed by their respective open-source licenses (e.g. MIT, Apache 2.0).

3. Trademark Declarations & Disclaimers

We explicitly acknowledge and respect all third-party intellectual property:

Uttaranchal University: The Uttaranchal University and USCS names, emblems, and logos are trademarks of Uttaranchal University, Dehradun.

Partner Brands: Trademarks such as Major League Hacking (MLH), Hacktoberfest, and other partner logos belong exclusively to their respective owners.
