The AWS Student Builder Group at USCS platform uses essential browser storage mechanisms (HTML5 LocalStorage, SessionStorage, and session cookies) strictly required for secure authentication, navigation state, and user interface preferences.
Purpose: Stores encrypted JWT tokens locally in IndexedDB / LocalStorage to keep you signed in securely across page reloads.
Purpose: Caches active UserProfile state (full name, role, permissions) in LocalStorage to optimize header rendering and dashboard routing without redundant network latency.
Purpose: Stores initial application loading wave states (`aws_app_booted`) and UI toast notices to provide a smooth user experience.
We do NOT use third-party advertising cookies, cross-site tracking pixels, or commercial data broker cookies. All browser storage is strictly essential for application functionality and security.
You can clear your browser storage or block cookies at any time using your browser preferences. Note that clearing local storage will log you out of your active student or staff session.
